The city of Las Vegas invites men’s basketball teams to participate in fall recreation leagues that begin the week of Sept. 14 at Dula Gymnasium. Teams of men ages 18 and older will play for an eight-week regular season, plus a single-elimination tournament. Team registration will be open at the center now through Sept. 10, or until full. The cost is $250 per team, plus $25 officials’ fees per game. Games will be played in the center’s gymnasium, located at 441 E. Bonanza Road, near the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard. Men’s C Division teams will play Thursdays from 6 to 10 p.m. The leagues are limited to the first eight teams to complete paid registration. Each team is required to have matching numbered shirts and a roster of six to 12 players. Players must wear rubber-soled gym shoes. Trophies will be awarded to first- and second-place teams.

The Dula Gym is a facility of the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services. The gym is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The facility is closed on Sundays and holidays. The gym offers an open computer lab, a room with free weights and cardio exercise equipment, and a dance room in addition to a full basketball court with stadium seating. The facility also offers table tennis, paddle tennis, pickle ball, volleyball, hiking, youth basketball leagues and open basketball.
