House Fire Sends One Person To The Hospital

Cause of incident:  Accidental – A teen occupant was experimenting with a cigarette lighter in the recreational room (garage) of the house when it caught fire. He tried to put it out, but it got out of control and he evacuated the house with his sister.
 
American Red Cross: No  (3 people displaced.)    Pets:  Yes          Status of pets:  Two dogs and two hamsters got out without injury.

General information about the incident:  Accidental fire. Teen was taken to the hospital with burns to his hand, he is expected to be treated and released.
