Las Vegas Families Invited To Annual Back To School Community Fair And Movie In The Park With Councilman Wolfson
Aug. 13 Festivities Take Place In Ward 2 At An San Sister City Park

 

Ward 2 Councilman Steve Wolfson is inviting residents to join him for his annual Back-to-School Fair and Movie in the Park on Friday, Aug. 13, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The upcoming festivities will take place at An San Sister City Park, 7801 Ducharme Ave.

“A fun filled evening is planned, with free backpacks and school supplies to be distributed while they last,” Councilman Wolfson said. “I encourage everyone to attend and celebrate heading back to school.”

The movie, “The Spy Next Door,” rated PG, starts at dusk. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and chairs. Free light refreshments will be provided while supplies last. Food will also be available for purchase. Community vendors are welcome to participate. A required $25 fee must be paid to the city of Las Vegas by Aug. 6.
