Las Vegas Firefighters Assisted At Mount Charleston Fire

 

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue provided assistance today during the wildland fire on Mount Charleston. 

 Resources included nine engine companies, one ladder truck company, one paramedic rescue unit, one water tanker truck and one battalion chief.  A total of 45 firefighters and the 13 units were used to protect buildings in three subdivisions (Cathedral, Old Town and Rainbow) and for the Mount Charleston Lodge.  There were no damages or injuries reported at any of those locations.

One Deputy Fire Chief of Operations and one Fire Public Information Officer provided assistance at the Incident Command Post during the incident.
