Vegas Drive And Decatur Boulevard Intersection Traffic Lane Restrictions Planned To Occur During The Overnight Hours
Utility Work In The Intersection Starts Tonight

Starting today, April 20, and continuing through Friday, April 30, traffic disruptions can be expected at the Vegas Drive and Decatur Boulevard intersection, during the approximate hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Eastbound traffic on Vegas will be detoured south at Decatur. Westbound Vegas traffic will be able to travel through the intersection, although left-turn movements, to drive south, will not be permitted.

Traffic on Decatur will be able to continue through the Vegas intersection, however, left-turn movements onto Decatur will not be permitted.

The temporary traffic flow change is necessary as crews do utility work in the intersection. The traffic lane restrictions are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours to cause the least disruption to traffic on these busy roadways.

The Vegas and Decatur intersection will return to full access each day by 5 a.m. The intersection should return to full around-the-clock access by Saturday, May 1.
